This is a super simple but super nourishing recipe that can be adapted to individual likes: Both our Chaga Extract or our Turmeric & Black Pepper Capsules work.
For the Raw Turmeric Bars we added Mango as a sweet and fruity highlighter, while the Chaga recipe is refined with a handful of blueberries.
For the base:
1 cup medjool dates
1 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup almonds
For the topping:
1/2 Cup coconut milk
2 tablespoons raw honey or maple syrup
1 cup cashews (soaked for a couple of hours or ideally over night)
1 cup desiccated coconut
Either 1 handful of blueberries or 1/2 Mango (depending on if you are going for the Turmeric or Chaga extract version)
Either 3 of our Turmeric & Black Pepper Capsules or 1.5 teaspoons of our Chaga Extract
Directions:
Place the base ingredients in a blender and whisk until combined. Place the dough in a round or square plastic container.
Combine all the topping ingredients in a blender and pour over the base in the separate container.
Place in the freezer for 30 mins or in the fridge over night and then cut into pieces.
