Recipe: Coconut Banana Smoothie with Ashwagandha & Heart Chakra

Nature's Antidote

This delicious smoothie is filled with adaptogenic goodness. Ashwagandha is an ayurvedic herb that aids in adapting to stress and relieves anxiety. It can also boost brain function and improve fertility. 

It is slightly bitter in taste, which is why mixing it with sweet banana is a great way to balance the taste profiles. 

Heart Chakra contains a variety of medicinal herbs that combat stress and soothe the nervous system. 

This smoothie is the perfect way to start the weekend and to nourish the body with stress relieving herbs to charge up for the week ahead. 

Ingredients: 

1 – 2 (frozen) Bananas 

1 cup coconut milk 

1/2 cup filtered water 

1 teaspoon Ashwagandha

1 teaspoon Heart Chakra 

Optional: raw honey or agave syrup to sweeten 

Directions: 

If you use frozen bananas, let them defrost for about 10 minutes first. 

Then, add all ingredients into a blender and whisk up. 

Cover with Heart Chakra powder if you haven’t added it yet, similar to the image shown.
