Reishi is an excellent mushroom to help you relax and improve your overall health. It has an earthy aroma that pairs exceptionally well with the raw taste of cacao. 

Studies have shown that Reishi boosts the immune system, fights viral infections, and treats many health issues, from heart disease to high blood pressure to HIV. It is believed that this red mushroom enhances the body's natural ability to heal and repair and cope with stress. Not surprisingly, Reishi is commonly prescribed by herbalists as a natural anti-depressant.

For Reishi Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 Tsp. Reishi Mushroom Extract Powder
  • 1 Cup of your favourite plant milk
  • 1 Tsp. raw cocoa powder
  • 1 Tsp. natural sweetener (agave syrup, coconut sugar or stevia)
  • 1 Tsp. raw coconut oil
  • 1/4 Tsp cinnamon powder or one cinnamon stick

Preparation

  1. Heat plant milk.
  2. Add Reishi and cocoa. Stir until all powder is dissolved.
  3. Add coconut oil and sweetener.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
